I always do a recap post right after my last wedding of the year. I am a few weeks late this year, but that is because 2023 was a huge year to recap and it took me longer than usual to get over the fact that the 2023 wedding season was over.
2023 was the best year Events by McKenna has ever had. My precious business exploded with brides and grooms, wedding days, and exciting new opportunities. My team went from a team of three to a team of six!
I had my first born child this year and it was the most precious time of my life being pregnant with her and living my dream job. Every wedding I had I kept imagining her wedding day and how excited I was to be a mother of the bride and watch her walk down the aisle one day.
I planned the most beautiful weddings I have ever planned this year in some the most stunning places I have ever been. There were so many moments that I would just pinch myself not believing that my dream turned into a reality.
The reality is I get to have my dream life because of all the wonderful bride and grooms who trust me to plan the biggest day of their lives. This is something I do not take lightly, and is something that I am so grateful for.
